What we have done in the past 3 weeks- PBL

During the past three weeks of PBL me and my group (TheWishMakers) have gone to the hospital, made a GiveALittle page (givealittle) and have planned several activities all of which were shot down but we had to keep trying, we have even combined with a fellow group (MaccaPacca) to do a Car Wash Saturday 2nd December which is one of the first things we have been allowed to do.

The Start:
During the first week we had to call the hospital to have conformation we were allowed to go and see children in the pediatric ward in order to read stories to children and write Santa lists with them we had the go ahead and we went there is the second week.

The Middle:
The second week we visited the hospital and waited for an hour to be told we couldn't because of CYPP (Child Youth Protection Policies) we then planned a bunch of other activities with all of them being shut down by teachers but we kept persevering to the third week where we had a car wash.

The End:
during the car wash we made $50 at $10 a car meaning we washed 5 cars in 4 hours we all ended getting sunburn on either arms, legs, neck or face (some used Sunscreen others did not) we are now in the middle of sorting out presentations for the end of PBL.

English -Essay

If females are only wearing what they feel comfortable in and males are the ones complaining because they “can’t concentrate” who is really to blame?.
Females should be able to wear whatever they please specifically in schools.
It's not very fair that females don't get to have their Clothing preference, why are female views rarely looked at, and it's not fair that it's immediately their fault for males to be distracted by them to the point where they can’t do their work.

If males get their Clothing preference in schools why can’t Females?
In a lot of American schools they have very small cheer leading uniforms but if a 'normal' female student came to school showing the same bare skin the uniforms show, they would be told off and, most likely either sent home, or forced to wear an over sized humiliating shirt, with text saying how they broke the school dress code.
Humiliating people should not be how you teach people not to wear things, you should tell them the reasons although I guess the reason they don't do this is because they don't have proper reasons just excuses. The males don't have a very limited dress code the only thing that really limits them is how society thinks, since they can’t wear “girl clothing” because it's for “girls only” or because “you will never have friends if you wear things like that”. When are limited by dress codes as if it will stop males from concentrating on them instead of the work or as if it will stop name calling when it won't.

Why are female views rarely looked at?
It seems like if a female brings up their clothing preference argument vs a male complaining that he ‘can’t concentrate’ the male will normally win the argument because of the fact his education is more important than hers, as it is proven that the more comfortable you are, the better you learn so in this action of ‘females should be dress coded but males only get very few dress code rules’ is rather unfair it's like they don't want females to learn properly by being in uncomfortable clothing instead of their own personal preference.
People say that sexism doesn’t exist anymore then what is this? Is this not sexisim? Have the male able to learn but the female doesn’t even get their clothing preference because males can’t control their mindset?

Not only do the females views seem to be rarely get looked at, why must it be a female's fault for males to get distracted by them?.
It's often classed as the female’s fault when a male is distracted by a female and the clothing they have chosen to wear, if a teacher can’t keep the attention of their class because of an item of clothing they should not be teaching, but how is it the female’s fault they are seen as attractive.
We shouldn’t be trying to teach females to not wear what you want, we should be teaching males how to keep concentration there are places like the middle east where women wear literal sheets only showing their eyes, it is amazing that they literally ban females from showing ‘too much skin’ due to things like this so if males don't like it, why don't they move to the middle east where they aren’t bothered by females ‘showing too much skin’ and this way the can’t lose concentration.

If females won't be decent then why shouldn't we hold their options on clothing back?
Certain females preference of clothing could be no bra with a see through top and in school, that is incredibly unacceptable, but why? we are only told it is unacceptable but where is the reasoning? people shouldn't be treated unequally without a valid reason we are just told "this is unacceptable" and we go along with it because out childish brains seem to think adult brains are so much different when its really just got more memories and thoughts in it. Although out on the street, there shouldn’t be anything wrong with this, as no one should be able to tell you, “you should wear this” as they should have absolutely no control over what you wear and what you want to be seen as.

This is why females should be able to freely wear whatever they want.
Because it's not very fair that females don't get to have their Clothing preference, their views looked at, and, it's not fair that it's immediately their fault for males to be distracted by them to the point where they can’t do their work.

Females aren’t the problem, the males are.

English- Random Writings 2

History has value in today's society because it's gives us a story of how we got here and, the past our ancestors had, it teaches us about the hardships and the things they had to face. We need to learn about our ancestors because they are apart of what happened in the past to how everything got to the way it is, but not everything we learn in and for history is relevant when more modern events could be, when we could be taught about how today’s medical system works & how to take care of our health we could/are told how they did most things in the past with ‘leeches’, there are much more important things to learn other than the history of America, or slavery because yes that happened but it is in the past and it just brings up arguments and complaints against the ‘white’ people as, because their ancestors did it, it must mean all ‘white’ skinned people ‘must’ be racist and discriminate against ‘black’ people, but yet when a darker skinned person makes a racist comment against a lighter skinned person it snot seen as racist because of what happened in the past.

English- Random Writings

Boxing should not be classified as a sport because it is too dangerous to be even considered as a piece of entertainment. Children watch things like this then you can find adults wondering why their child is so violent. Boxing is a danger to society and the the future of the world's children. It could encourage fighting and bullying and it can put the view in a young child's mind that fighting and hurting another child for the sake of harming them is an OK thing to do. When it is not, it should not be a thing, it is not healthy and it should not be considered a sport when that can just as easily be used an excuse to hurt someone else because you could simply just use the excuse ‘we were practicing boxing like they do on T.V’. It is not OK to put the idea in a child's or anyone else's mind beating or hurting someone is OK. When people say “oh no it's just for entertainment no one would actually do something like this just because they saw it on TV” when people would actually do that just because one person wouldn't doesn’t mean the rest of the world is like them and wouldn't. And the fact that people get paid for hurting others is also not ok, they are paid to cause damage to other people, you would think people would get the message when people start dying from things like this.
